Contemplative Retreats

The structure of the contemplative retreat is well suited to a weekend get-away. Friday night arrival signals a time to leave the cares of the every day life behind and to devote time to enter the presence of the sacred. Silence is convened until the celebratory breaking of silence on Sunday morning. Saturday is filled with the experience of deepening an encounter with the Holy through corporate and individual spiritual practices and time for personal reflection, nature observation and journaling.

The retreat is tailored to the group’s specific foci, tastes and preferences, and can include dreamwork, contemplation, plenary sharing and ritual. Retreatants come away from the experience inspired to reengage the challenges of everyday life with renewed purpose and inner vision.
